Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me.
Welcome to our place!
Thank you for visiting us. We are here to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him alone. We have no other reason to exist and we are very grateful that the Lord has enabled us to be His ambassadors in this world. This web site is dedicated to making JESUS a household name since His is the name above all names and without Him we can do nothing.

"Get in the Word. Get the Word in you. Read and study your Bible!"
We believe in the shed blood atonement of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin and we believe that the Holy Bible is the perfect Word of God. There are no mistakes, no conflict and it says what it means and means what it says. Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and you must be born again to get there. We believe that the triune God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, is one God. We believe in Christ and Him crucified. Being a Christian means you have a relationship with Jesus and you fashion your life and lifestyle according what He teaches in His Word, the Bible. We believe Christians are people who are growing in His grace and daily trying to reflect Jesus Christ in their lives, not perfect little religious robots. We believe that God is a merciful Father who cares about every thing, big or little, in our lives and that all His promises are as good today as they were two thousand years ago. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and he will meet you at your need whenever you ask, where ever you are. We do not claim to have all the answers to all the questions but we are absolutely positive that we can introduce you to the One, who not only does have all the answers, but the One Who is the answer. We also believe that the greatest miracle of all is when a person is born again. Whether you've come to our web site deliberately or maybe you just happened upon it, please let me tell you what the lord has done for us.
I, Jack, was a lost, drunken, drug abusing street bum for many years. After my father died when I was four years old my mother re-married. How can I soften telling how it was? I think by realizing they both had a history of suffering too. My step-father had been bullied in his life and I think that's one of the reasons he brutally beat me on a regular basis. My mother never made any effort to stop him and I guess she was trying to justify herself by blaming me, saying I was no good and ugly. I didn't know any better than to believe what she said which made me think I deserved the beatings. It really warped my mind and emotions for years. Drinking and drugs were an escape that eventually enslaved me and I pretty much became what I hated most; a mean destructive hateful adult. There is no limit to what I could have done had not the violence and anger turned inside onto myself It could have been a much different outcome. God was very merciful to me. I became a statistic, in and out of jails and mental hospitals and I didn't know how to live and I couldn't die. On December 8th, 1988 I finally came to the end of myself. While in a detox facility in Kentucky, I cried out to Jesus in desperation, not believing He would hear me, but He did. He didn't give me what I deserved but gave me grace and mercy instead. I asked Him to forgive me and save me and He did. He came into my life and my heart and I was born again. It hasn't always been easy but it has always been worth the effort and work it takes to live a transformed life in Christ.
Sally came from parents who were young and foolish that got married for the wrong reasons and when they realized their mistake she was on the way. They went their own ways and for many years Sally was subjected to a mean, hard drinking, violent step-father who wanted to be with her mother but resented her being in the way. She suffered much emotional abuse and often had to literally run to keep him from hitting her. It was not an easy way to grow up but she survived. There was good side to her growing up though. Her grandparents came on the scene and took her into their home and raised her in a Godly and sane environment. They were both devoted Christian and church members. Because he was the caretaker of the church, Sally often went with her grandfather to tend to various duties. Her grandmother was head of her Sunday School department so she says she sometimes felt like she literally lived part of her life in church. Sally is very quick to share with people how the Lord was there for her as she experienced both the harsh bitterness of life while having loving nurturing grandparents there too.
God has been so good to us and He wants to be good to you too. We've shared this little snapshot of our lives so you can see that He really can and wants to make a difference in all our lives. Maybe your life has always been pretty good and you were brought up by good parents (praise God for good parents). You still need to come to Jesus if you want to have the abundance of life that only He can give. Believe it or not, but heaven and hell are real. You will experience one or the other by the decision you make. If you are a Christian, we thank God for you, but if you've never come to Jesus Christ and confessed yourself a sinner and asked His forgiveness and invited Him into your heart to give Him your life you are lost and you will spend eternity separated from God. That is hell by any definition. Jesus gave His life for you on the Cross of Calvary and He wants you to give your life to Him because He wants you to be with Him in eternal life.
We thank the Lord that He put us together to work for Him. We come from totally different cultures. I grew up in the deep south, Mississippi, and Sally grew up in the north, northern Illinois but because of the consistency of the Bible's teaching we live in love and unity. We believe that it doesn't matter that much where you come from or what you've come from but it is a matter of life and death where you are and where you're going. God bless you and keep you safe and give you favor in all you do and everywhere you go.

GOD'S WORD IS HERE - for us. . . all of us
Hello and welcome. It is good to be back with you again. I hope that you have been well and that you are staying close to God. It is vital that you do. He has given to us a treasure that can only be received by His Holy Spirit. It is understood in its depth by Spiritual discernment.
When I say that God's Word is here, I mean it. It is here for all to read. But to be understood in the fullness and value to the soul that it is meant to be one must be saved. To the lost it will bring conviction and knowledge of a lacking in their life. To the saved it is life and comfort in this world of sorrows and encouragement for the good times.
Paul wrote to the Corinthians to hold fast to the confession of their faith. Here, he was telling them to keep a firm grip on the gift they had received. The gift of being born again. The confession being their expressing their belief in Jesus Christ as Savior and faith in His ability to transform and ultimately redeem.
To hold fast to your faith also means to be very deliberate in the way you are living your life as you navigate this world. it is the process of leaving the old and learning the new and pressing on toward the mark of His higher calling. Jesus wants you to have better than what you had. For some of us it was easy to compare what we had with what He has given us. I mean, my old life was a mess and just about anything would have been better, but what Jesus gave me was so totally better that it wasn't hard at all to know, and cling to, the difference. But for some it is not so easy. Let me try to make this clear.
There are some people in this world who are just good, nice, sweet, gentle, kind, generous, fun, understanding, patient, decent, moral, people. To know them you would think, wow! what a great person. They display all the virtues and qualities I'm trying to live up to as a Christian. So they must be Christian, right? Well, only if they have been born again. It would be much like what Jesus said to the young ruler when He told him to follow Him. This young man had the virtues but what he didn't have - - what he chose not to have, was a personal relationship with Jesus. Do you get the picture? Jesus had been to him. Jesus had offered him a position with Him but he turned Jesus down. He was satisfied within himself. Jesus was sad when He left that young man that day. That young man left as he had come, lost. Being a good person didn't save him.
That young man believed in Jesus. He knew that Jesus was real yet he chose not to follow Him. He chose to not allow Jesus to come and be in his life.
So, it is not whether you believe in Jesus or not. But, you say, the Apostle Paul told the jailer, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy family. Isn't that enough? Many people believe yet are still lost. How is that? It's like this; I believe in President Obama. I know he exists. I believe in the government of our nation. I instantly recognize them both when I see them. I believe. But here's the difference. I have invited Jesus into my life and heart. I have asked His forgiveness for sins and committed to following and obeying Him. Although I must respect the office of my President, I will never invite him into my life and I will never submit to the life he offers, nor his government. I do not want to spend eternity according to Obama's principles and I don't want him in my life. I can't get him out of this world (and neither can you get Jesus out of this world) but I can keep him out of my life! (and you can keep Jesus out of your life)
So, my friend, hold fast to the confession of your faith, knowing that that faith is anchored in the Rock of Ages, Jesus the Christ. Knowing that holding fast to that hope will help you grow in faith and keep you from the old things of the world. As it speaks of the pressing onward to the mark of the higher calling which action helps to not give in to that sin or habit that so easily besets you, that is, trips you up, you are going on towards heaven!
Go to Church where you can find like minded people who will support you. It is human nature to be like the people we hang around with, so get with the folk who want what you want. Hang in there and please - - - - take care . Love Jesus and let Him love on you. It is going to be ok. Even if things are not ok, it is going to be ok. Trust Him, He will get you through. I will be praying for you. Please pray for Sally and me. God bless you.
Sally and I are back in the saddle and for the most part we are doing well. Along with guidance from the Lord and our board of directors we are making some changes in the ministry. Probably should have done it a long time ago but we thought we should do everything and "not be a burden" on anyone else! Kind of prideful on our part, as we see it now, but our intentions were in the right place.
Bob and Vicki King will be doing the newsletter from now on and soon you will see why we should have done this long ago - - - not only in quality but in consistency. It will be done regularly from now on. When Sally and I did it it was a rush and a real chore to get it done. It is a lot of work and time consuming. So we thank God. All He does brings improvement!
This web site also has the potential of great ministry if done properly. I have been managing it and as you can see if you visit (even not too often!) the updates and management has been very irregular. So we have put out feelers and are praying that God will send me someone who loves this kind of ministry. Again, it is a big responsibility and a chore to properly take care of this valuable resource.
Thank you to those who have visited the guest book and left good comments and constructive criticism. Please pray that God will reveal to us that very special person. I have already talked to one of those special people and it will be a blessing to have him/her (I'm not telling).
As I said we are doing things a little differently. Sally and I are somewhat slower than we have been. I had a preacher tell me yesterday that I still have to be "Jumping Jack" and I had to tell him. "maybe not so much on the outside, but I will always be jumping on the inside for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!"
Well, yall take care and know we love and appreciate you. Thank you, so much, for praying.
